Paralegal

I graduated cum laude from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, in 2006 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science.  I also attended the South Carolina School of Law from 2006 to 2008 before coming to work for Desa in January 2009.  I hope to return to law school eventually, but I will enthusiastically admit that working with Desa, Harvey, Stephanie, and everyone here is substantially more interesting, fun, and fulfilling than the two years I spent learning contracts, torts, and civil procedure and being grilled on cases in class!

I live in my hometown of Irmo with my husband, John, and our three cats (Chewbacca, Hedwig, and Mo) and two dogs (Thor and Biscuit).  When I am not at work, spending time with my dogs, or walking my husband (oops, I may have gotten that backwards), I enjoy reading (fiction, romance, and fantasy) and playing my favorite video game with my husband, World of Warcraft.
